New fabric collection

My new fabric collection with Quilting Treasures called “Dream Boats” is now in stores. Below is a photo of the main print with a few of the coordinates. There are 12 prints total. The main design started out as a fun doodle of a wave and I eventually added sailboats and islands. An adventurous dream vacation to cure the winter blues.

Summer Quilts

I know I have already posted about my “Gems of the Sea” fabric, but being the first day of summer, I thought I would just add one more post featuring some very summery and “Cool” looking quilts I have discovered, using the “Gems of the Sea” fabric. The first is from All People’s Quilt and was also shown in the American Patchwork and Quilting April addition. The quilt is designed by Laura Boehnke.  I love this design, it cools you off just looking at it.

The second quilt was designed by Pat Sloan and is featured in the McCalls Quick Quilts June/July 2011 issue. Now all I need is my cottage by the sea and I’m set.

I have just about completed the artwork for a new fabric collection with P&B Textiles that I will be excited to show this Fall. It is quite a bit different from “Gems of the Sea”.
